Darcy Pattison, of North Little Rock, AR, is a featured author in GSUSA's The Studio.  The Studio is a showcase for inspiring storytellers of all kinds, who offer an inside look at how they do what they do.  Darcy is an author of picture books and novels, including two nature books: Prairie Storms, Desert Baths, Wisdom: The Midway Albatross, and 11 Ways to Ruin a Photograph. She also travels to teach her popular Novel Revision Retreat course.

She is the 2007 recipient of the Arkansas Governor’s Arts Award, Individual Artist Award for her work in children’s literature. She is currently co-chair of the Children’s Program for the Arkansas Literary Festival.
