Morgan Asbill, 16, of Springdale, Arkansas was recently named a Semi-Finalist in the Justine Magazine R.E.A.L. Girl contest. Morgan is a Girl Scout in the Fayetteville area of the Diamonds Council. In addition to this most recent honor, Morgan was one of two girls from the Diamonds Council selected as a delegate to the 2012 Girls World Forum, held in Chicago in July.
The October/November issue of Justine featuring the R.E.A.L.Girl contest is available now on www.justinemagazine.com.
Justine empowers teen girls by encouraging self-confidence and creativity through articles that focus on real girls and their path to success. The R.E.A.L.
Fall Product Program Not Impacted by Peanut Butter Recall

Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas has officially began the Fall Product Program. As many of you know, our council uses Ashdon Farms to supply the product for the Fall Product Program.
Ashdon Farms products are not impacted by the current ongoing recall of peanut butter, nut butters, and related items currently being conducted in connection with product from Sunland, Inc.
As you may be aware, there is a growing number of product recalls associated with peanut butter and other nut butters produced by Sunland, Inc., including a large number of products that used nut butters provided by Sunland as ingredients. Ashdon Farms does not use Sunland as a supplier and therefore has no involvement in the recall.
If you have questions regarding the council's Fall Product Program, please feel free to contact us at 800-632-6894. Thank you!
