In 2012 Girl Scouting celebrates its 100th Anniversary. This milestone provides a unique opportunity to reflect on the tremendous contributions the organization has made over the past 100 years and to also rally support for the next century of Girl Scouting. During 2012, Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas will:
- Celebrate and reflect on the tremendous contributions the organization has made during the past 100 years
- Increase visibility, empower girls and impact communities
- Coordinate a 2nd Century funding campaign in recognition of the 100th Anniversary to provide funding for future generations of Girl Scouts
- Celebrate Girl Scout history and share the story of Girl Scouts through an Oral History Project
- Engage Alumnae and connect them to today's movement
