Kings River Paddle

The Kings River is an incredibly scenic place. It's lined with tall bluffs, gravel beds, and forested banks. Its waters flow clear and clean. Belted kingfishers, egrets, and herons are common sights. Join The Nature Conservancy on a guided paddle along this incredible river. Your guide, Devan Schlaudraff, will provide paddling instructions before and during the trip, as well as all gear needed. The Kings River is a perfect place for a first time paddler andexperienced paddle to both enjoy a day on the water. The group will meet at Kings River Outfitters, be shuttled to Rockhouse Creek to launch the boats, and paddle back down to Trigger Gap. Along the way getting to swim, site-see, and eat lunch on a sandbar. The participants should bring a sack lunch, and dress appropriately for the weather.

For safety purposes, every adult attending this event must register here. Adults or children not registered for this event will not be allowed to attend.

All event attendees must adhere to council Covid-19 Guidelines for In-Person Girl Scout Activity.

Girls may not be dropped off and left unattended at this event. Must attend with parent, troop leader or chaperone.
