Diamonds Properties

Discover nature and experience the adventure, fun, friendship and beauty of the outdoors at one of the Diamonds properties! Camping is a vital part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, often providing girls with their first opportunity to ride a horse, swim, canoe, or take on a challenge with a group. Staying at a Diamonds property is a true outdoor adventure and each of the properties offers something unique and fun for everyone!

We have five beautiful properties available for rent and meeting spaces available at each of our regional offices. Ask about a personal tour of our historical artifacts at the Little Rock office.

Burnham Woods/Fort Smith

Burnham Woods is located in Fort Smith and serves as one of our regional offices. This site has four facilities used for troop and council events. It is located in the River Valley of Arkansas between the Ouachita Mountains in the south and the Boston and Ozark Mountains of the north, and is a gateway city to the Ozarks. This 13.5-acre property includes facilities for meetings including Kelley Cabin, the Cookie Cabins and Ellyn’s House. There are two pavilions on the property with picnic tables, two large open fields, a small forested area with nature trails and a creek, a small pond, and the STEAM Center.

Kelley Cabin

Kelley Cabin offers a fully functional kitchen and functions well as a meeting space and dining facility with a capacity of 99. It can accommodate overnight guests who bring sleeping bags or cots.

Ellyn's House

Ellyn’s House accommodates eight people sleeping on bunk beds. It offers a full kitchen, modern bathroom facilities including a shower.

The STEAM Center at Burnham Woods

The STEAM Center functions well as an activity or field trip space for youth groups as well as a meeting space. Overnight accommodations are not permitted.

Cookie Cabins

There are four screened cabins that can accommodate six per cabin for overnight use. An outdoor cooking area is provided and includes a campfire circle. Modern bathroom facilities are nearby in the STEAM Center.

Camp Cahinnio

Camp Cahinnio is nestled on nearly 400 acres of woodlands near Booneville in west central Arkansas. Booneville is located in Logan County at the intersection of Arkansas Scenic Highways 23 and 10. The Booneville area is surrounded by beautiful scenery including the Petit Jean River, Ozark National Forest, Ouachita National Forest, Blue Mountain Lake and Mount Magazine, the tallest mountain between the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains. Booneville is located about 150 miles from Little Rock and 40 miles from Fort Smith. Camp Cahinnio offers a private 23-acre lake, swimming pool with modern bathhouse, archery range, hiking trails, air-conditioned dining hall, and four separate living units for campers.

Camp Cahinnio is accredited by the American Camp Association, indicating safe, high quality programs that meet industry and government standards.

Dining Hall

The dining hall has a fully functional commercial kitchen and functions well as a meeting space and dining facility. Capacity of 99.

Jeffery House

Jeffery House accommodates 10 people sleeping on bunk beds. It offers a full kitchen and modern bathroom facilities including a shower.

Broken Arrows Unit

The Broken Arrows Unit has nine heated and cooled cabins and can accommodate four per cabin for overnight use. An outdoor cooking area is provided and includes a campfire circle and picnic area. The Broken Arrows Unit is served by a separate bathhouse. 

Tipi Unit

The Tipi Unit has eight canvas platform tents and can accommodate four per tent for overnight use. An outdoor cooking area is provided and includes a campfire circle and picnic area. The Tipi Unit is served by a separate bathhouse.

Outpost

This unit has two sleeping platforms and four gravel pads for tents or open sleeping under the night sky. While there is no covered shelter at the Outpost it is a perfect location for pitching a tent. The Outpost offers a rustic camping adventure with pit latrines and a hand pump well for water. Capacity of 40.

Tree House

The Tree House is an elevated cabin with two sleeping rooms. Capacity of 10.

13 Canoes and 16 kayaks are available for rental at Camp Cahinnio.

Camp Crossed Arrows

Camp Crossed Arrows is hidden away in the Ozark hills near Floral, Arkansas. Approximately 24 miles from Camp Crossed Arrows is Batesville, the oldest existing city in Arkansas. An easy trip from many towns in central Arkansas, Camp Crossed Arrows features woods and mountains, rock formations, caves and creeks. The camp’s 400 acres host a swimming pool, arts and crafts area, horse corrals and pastures, hiking trails, a dining hall and living units. Accommodations include two troop houses complete with heating and air-conditioning and modern bathroom facilities. The camp also has two complete cabin units, each with a bathhouse and hot showers, pavilion with picnic tables and campfire circle.

Dining Hall

The dining hall has a fully functional commercial kitchen and functions well as a meeting space and dining facility. Includes one modern bathroom/shower. Air conditioning is available in the kitchen only. The dining area has screened windows. Kitchen/running water not available in winter months (contact for details on seasonal availability). Capacity of 78.

Eagle's Nest

This unit has bunks for up to 24 people for overnight accommodation. The Eagles Nest has a full kitchen, two modern bathroom facilities including showers, and AC/heat.

Daisy's Wigwam

Daisy’s Wigwam has bunks for up to 20 people for overnight accommodation. It offers a full kitchen, one modern bathroom facility including shower, and AC/heat.

Cherokee Cabins Unit 

The Cherokee unit has nine screened cabins that can accommodate four per cabin on camp cots for overnight use. An outdoor cooking area is provided and includes a campfire circle, covered pavilion, and benches/picnic tables. Cherokee Unit is served by a separate bathhouse with five modern toilets/showers and sinks. Bathhouse/running water not available in winter months (contact for details on seasonal availability).

Osage Cabins Unit 

The Osage unit has nine screened cabins that can accommodate four per cabin on camp cots for overnight use. An outdoor cooking area is provided and includes a campfire circle, covered pavilion and benches/picnic tables. Osage unit is served by a bathhouse with five modern toilets/showers and sinks. Bathhouse/running water not available in winter months (contact for details on seasonal availability).

Swimming Pool

Capacity is 102.

Nurse’s Cabin

The Nurse’s Cabin can accommodate four for overnight use. It offers a modern bathroom including shower. This unit has no heating but offers air-conditioning. Running water not available in winter months (contact for details on seasonal availability).

Canoes

Canoes are available for rental for use on sections of Salado Creek located on the camp property.

Horseback Riding

Horseback riding taught by trained riding instructors is available in various options: adult-led “Pony Rides” for younger children or short parties at the barn, Horseback Riding Badge Workshops (available to registered Girl Scout troops only and catered to group size/age/experience level), private riding lessons, or group riding lessons. There are 14 horses at this site.

Archery

Archery taught by trained archery instructors is available for rental at Camp Crossed Arrows.

Camp NOARK

Dining Hall

The dining hall has a fully functional commercial kitchen and functions well as a meeting space and dining facility. Capacity of 99.

Friendship Lodge - Upper and Lower

This is a great place for meetings and training events with a day use capacity of 70. One large multi-use room with kitchen, bathroom, and fireplace that has sleeping capacity for approximately 40.

Chalet

Designed by famous architect E. Fay Jones, the Chalet accommodates 10 people sleeping on bunk beds. The Chalet has a full kitchen, modern bathroom facilities including a shower, and a campfire circle.

Troop House

The Troop House accommodates 10 people and offers a full kitchen, modern bathroom facilities including a shower, and a campfire circle.

Enchanted Hollow

The Enchanted Hollow has 10 screened cabins and can accommodate four per cabin for overnight use. An outdoor cooking area is provided and includes a campfire circle. Enchanted Hollow offers a rustic camping adventure with pit latrines and a comfort station for showers.

Daisy Patch

The Daisy Patch has 10 canvas platform tents and can accommodate four per tent for overnight use. An outdoor cooking area is provided and includes a campfire circle. Daisy Patch offers a rustic camping adventure with pit latrines and a comfort station for showers.

Pooh Corner

NOARK Pooh Corner

Pooh Corner has five tent campsites for overnight use and outdoor cooking. Pooh Corner offers primitive camping with pit latrines and running water.

Comfort Station

The Comfort Station is located near the Dining Hall. It serves as a bathhouse and laundry facility. The Comfort Station is included with each rental.

Canoes

Eight canoes are available for rental at Camp NOARK.

Radford House

Radford House is a 14.23-acre property nestled in a wooded oasis in a rapidly developing area of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Radford House offers a spacious meeting room, full kitchen, modern bathroom facilities, cabins, fire pits, hiking trails and a tent area. Radford House is great for groups interested in sightseeing in Historic Hot Springs, or enjoying a back-to-basics camping adventure.

Main Lodge

The Main Lodge accommodates 30 people for overnight use. It offers a full kitchen and modern bathroom facilities including a shower. Adjacent to the Main Lodge is a great kitchen/bathroom facility that offers a spacious kitchen with double appliances and modern bathrooms including showers.

The main lodge is great for parties, meetings and sleepovers. It has a large computer flat screen for movies and informational training, a fireplace for the winter, tables, chairs, craft supplies, and indoor and outdoor games and supplies.

Cabins

Radford House has four screened cabins that can accommodate 8 -10 per cabin for overnight use. The cabins offer a primitive camping adventure with no electricity, but the Main Lodge serves the cabins nearby.

Kitchen

Main Lodge kitchen – the kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and utensils.

The new lodge kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators, a deep freezer, two dishwashers, two stove/ovens, coffee maker, sinks, and large prep island. Pots, pans, and other cooking equipment and utensils provided.

Fire Circle

Fire ring and benches – firewood, buckets, and tools provided.
