Did you know even Lifetime Members need to "renew"?
As a Girl Scout Lifetime Member, there are no more dues for you! So,
while you don't have to renew your membership in the traditional way
of paying dues for the upcoming year, there is still a renewal process
for Lifetime members that will help us ensure that all your
information is up-to-date, and you will receive communications from us.
Renew by June 15 by clicking the “Renew Now” link, log in to your
MyGS account and follow the instructions below to check your
information and renew your role or roles.*
1. On the membership tab, first choose NEXT YEAR from the drop-down
menu on the top right of the screen, then you can modify your role or
edit your renewal choice.
2. You should see renewal choices in a drop box for each role
showing as: “Time to Renew for 2020!”
- Choose RENEW if you are continuing.
- Choose I’LL DECIDE
LATER if you’re not sure at this time.
- Choose DO NOT RENEW if
you will not be returning to this position at all (in the case you are
100% sure you will not be returning).
- If there is no renewal
box next to your role, contact the Customer Care department at
800-632-6894 with detailed information.
3. Once you’ve made your selections, click CONTINUE.
4. You've done it! Your membership profile will update and reflect
your 2020 Membership Year role.
* The fine print: The reason renewing your role as a Lifetime
Member is so important is that our database is particular about how
it handles the records of Lifetime Members, and the best way to
ensure that the system knows to send you email is if you are renewed
for the current year (regardless of when you became a Lifetime
Member). Renewing your role also helps us know if you are an active
or inactive member.
