The first planned gift in the Girl Scout Movement came from our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. After converting the carriage house of her home into the first Girl Scout national headquarters, she gifted the property to Girl Scouts in her will. Carry on her legacy and make Girl Scouts a beneficiary of your estate plans when you become a member of the Juliette Gordon Low Society.
Let us know your intentions by completing the Bequest Form—your commitment will help empower generations of Girl Scouts to come.
In just one sentence, you can include a gift to Girl Scouts – Diamonds in your will or living trust, helping ensure that girls continue to grow into confident leaders for generations to come.
For an unrestricted gift that allows Girl Scouts – Diamonds to direct your support where it’s needed most, consider using the following language in your will or trust:
“I give to Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas, a nonprofit corporation currently located at 1719 Merrill Dr. Little Rock, AR 72212, or its successor thereto, $ _______/______% [written amount or percentage of the estate] for its unrestricted use and purpose.”
If you have named Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas in your will or trust, please let us know so we can ensure that your gift is used according to your wishes. Notifying us of your plans will enable us to plan for the use of your future gift. However, if you prefer to remain anonymous, we will keep your name and gift in strict confidence.
