Service unit leadership teams plan and organize regular troop leader meetings and trainings, handle communications with troop leaders in their service unit, and host fun and exciting girl events.
Do you love the outdoors and want to help other volunteers learn outdoor skills to pass on to their Girl Scouts? Our Venture Out series of trainings includes topics such as camping, campfire building and safety, outdoor cooking, and backpacking.
Or maybe you'd like to work with older girls in programs designed to help them grow their leadership skills - Program Aide and VIT - Volunteer in Training - or serve on the Gold Award Committee to advise Girl Scouts pursuing their Gold Award.
Assist as needed, for as little or as much time as you want. Support troop meetings, share your knowledge for a skill workshop, help out at a signature event, sew badges on uniforms, sort cookies – whatever your skill, we can use you!
