Date: Fri Oct 24, 6:00 PM CDT - Sun Oct 26, 10:00 AM CDT
Join us for a meaningful and fun-filled Día de los Muertos
Encampment, where Girl Scouts will explore cultural traditions through
hands-on experiences, outdoor activities, and celebration. Friday
evening kicks off with a showing of Coco and a themed
snack-troops should plan to eat dinner before arriving.
On Saturday, campers will rotate through exciting stations
including archery, the challenge course, horse activities, yard games,
traditional face makeup, decorating sugar cookies, making floral
crowns, papel picado crafts, and creating decorative sugar skulls. A
live band will bring energy and celebration to the evening!
We encourage each girl to bring a photo of a loved one to learn
about and contribute to our traditional altar display. This
unforgettable weekend honors the beauty of remembrance, culture, and community.
This event takes place at Camp Noark, Huntsville, Ar
