Girls will take off on an exciting journey into the fascinating world of aviation! Through engaging, hands-on activities, they'll learn the basics of flight, explore different types of aircraft, and discover how navigation works-uncovering the science, technology, and creativity behind taking to the skies.
Open to all Girl Scout levels, this interactive experience encourages curiosity, teamwork, and exploration as girls step into the roles of pilots, engineers, and air traffic controllers-all without leaving the ground! From understanding how planes fly to exploring careers in the field, participants will gain a deeper appreciation for the world of aviation and the many opportunities it offers.
Each Girl Scout will earn the exclusive Diamonds Aviation Patch, which is included in the cost of the program.
Please Note: A minimum of 10 registered Girl Scouts is required to facilitate this program. If fewer than 10 participants are registered, the event will be cancelled.
