Minimum Girl Registrations: 10
Girl Scouts will embark on a journey to explore the importance of
eating locally and understanding where their food comes from. During
this engaging and interactive experience, participants will discover
how food travels from farm to table and why supporting local farmers
and producers makes a difference. Through hands-on activities and
group discussions, girls will learn how their food choices affect
their health, their communities, and the environment.
By
the end of the workshop, each Girl Scout will have earned the Locavore
Badge, which will be included in the price of the workshop. This
experience will leave girls with a deeper appreciation for sustainable
eating, mindful decision-making, and the impact they can make through
everyday choices.
Please Note: A minimum of 10 registered
Girl Scouts is required for this event to take place. If fewer than 10
participants are registered, the event will be cancelled.
