Levels: Junior
& Cadette Girl Scouts (Grades 4-8)
Note: Day camp
only - no overnight stay
This four-day equine day camp invites Girl Scouts to build
riding skills, connect with horses, and grow through hands-on
leadership and life skill activities - all in a small-group
setting.
Each day includes both mounted and unmounted lessons
led by experienced equine staff, along with games, barn time, and
personal development activities. No riding experience is required.
Participants will explore everything from animal awareness to goal
setting while practicing bravery, responsibility, critical thinking,
and more.
Helmets, boots, and tack are provided. Riders must
wear thick blue jeans to protect their legs and bring a sack lunch
each day, don't forget your long socks. Personal helmets are not
permitted, but boots with a smooth sole in good condition may be
used.
To secure your spot, all registration forms, payment, and
a completed liability waiver must be submitted by the registration
deadline. Waitlists will open to other riders if required items are
missing.
