What happens when you combine curious students, the mysteries of outer space, and an Arkansas Tech University astronomy professor? An unforgettable adventure through the universe!
Students in grades 6-12 will dive into the fascinating world of astronomy through engaging activities, demonstrations, and conversations with a real astronomy expert from Arkansas Tech. They'll explore everything from planets and stars to galaxies, black holes, and the biggest questions scientists are still trying to answer.
This isn't just about memorizing facts-it's about thinking like a scientist. Students will have opportunities to ask questions, make observations, investigate ideas, and discover how astronomers learn about objects that are millions or even billions of miles away.
Whether you already dream of becoming an astronaut or you've simply wondered what's hiding in the night sky, there's something here for you. Come ready to explore, get curious, and see the universe in a whole new way!
