This Gold Award training introduces girls to the highest award in Girl Scouting and provides a clear overview of the requirements, expectations, and early steps needed to begin the process. Participants will learn how to identify community issues they care about, begin brainstorming sustainable project ideas, and understand what makes a project Gold Award-worthy. The session also walks girls through how to start shaping their ideas into actionable plans, including setting goals, considering impact, and thinking through who they may need to involve. Girls will leave with a stronger understanding of the process and the confidence to take their first steps toward developing a meaningful project that creates lasting change.
