Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is made available by the generosity of our donors and is intended to cover a portion of the costs for membership and uniforms. Financial assistance is also offered for summer camp.

Application for membership financial aid is available as part of the online membership registration process. A separate application must be completed for uniform assistance. Financial assistance requests for girls may only be made by the parent/guardian of a Girl Scout.

Membership, uniform and summer camp financial assistance do not exist without the generosity of our donors. If your family or business is interested in donating to these funds, please email development@girlscoutsdiamonds.org or visit the support us section of the website for more information or to donate directly.

What is a "campership"?

Camperships are scholarships funded by the generosity of donors who contribue to our campership fund each year. Our goal is to make camp a possibility for all girls. Financial difficulties should never be the rason a girl can't experience the life-changing lesoons and memories found at camp. Girl Scouts - Diamonds makes every effort to assist as many girls as possible from our allocated "campership" funds. Financial assistance for summer residential camp may be requested for any registered Girl Scout living in the 79 counties served by Girl Scouts - Diamonds.

How much can we apply for?

First-time applicants may apply for up to 100% of the cost of the camp session, less the $50 deposit. Second-time applicants may apply for up to 75% of the cost of the camp session, less the $50 deposit. Third-time applicants can apply for up to 50% of the cost of the camp session, less the $50 deposit. Priority will be given to first-time applicants.

How do I apply?

After you register your camper for their session by paying the $50 deposit, you will have access to the health profile inside of campdoc. The campership form is the 4th option down. Campership applications open in early January and are due February 19, 2025.
